I blogged about the 3 new additions to our family
And since I cannot show anything that could possibly be identifiable, I can only show the back of Baby Boy’s head.
And it is a very very precious little head.
And Brooklyn is so in love with being a Big Sister.
This is Baby Boy, the baby of the 3 siblings.
He has 2 skull fractures
Brain hemorrhages
Retinal bleeding
and shaken baby.
He is 4 months old.
And he seriously has the most amazing smile you’ve ever seen.
He will melt your heart.
God saved this tiny Baby Boy for a reason and a purpose and I’m blessed to be a part of his life!
Going from 3 children to 6 children overnight has been the most incredible experiences.
I love where God is taking us.
Look into fostering in your area if you can.

Oh, that is precious! I love, love, love it! What an amazing testimony this sweet baby has.
Wow …I already had a lot of respect for you as a photographer, but now I admire you. This is beautiful.
Oh you just brought tears to my eyes. My parents fostered over 200 children in my lifetime and each child had such an impact on my family. HECK- we even wound up adopting 3 of them!
Beautiful capture. Beautiful.
absolutely beautiful
Dana, this is such a moving photo. What a beautiful photo and story in every way. Mary
Dana, what a precious photo and story!
I am glad foster care is working out for you.
She looks like a great big sister for sure.
Wow! This is a beautiful photo. I love the black and white.
Wow ..this is a great photo. Off to read the back story now!
Beautiful!!!
OMGoodness, gave me chills. I don’t understand how this can ever happen! What a generous person you are to take over and give these kids what they desperately need!!
What a beautiful photo you captured! And what an incredible story. Such a sad yet inspiring story this little guy will have!
this is absolutely beautiful & God bless you for what you are doing!
Amazing picture! And your generosity and compassion is amazing! God bless you
Precious shot- & God Bless You for fostering children. I have always wanted to do that- maybe once we are more stable & move around a bit less. It is a calling & a gift- My husband was a child from a group home- so it is something that is very dear to my heart.
Oh gosh – nearly bawling my eyes out here. Precious children. I have always wanted to adopt..but we are military, so it is tricky. In God’s time.
What a beautiful image! I couldn’t imagine a child coming to be in that condition. I hope and pray for good health!
I love this so much. I know how long and hard you’ve prayed together as a family, and how obedient you’ve been, even when it hurt. And I know that taking in THREE children instead of one was a big surprise; but not to God. His plans are so immense, and He trusts you so much. “Well done, faithful servant”… I can hear Him now. Beautiful entry, Dana… I know it will touch many hearts….
I love all six of your kiddos. And I love that they love eachother too. What a wonderful adventure God started in your heart long before they came to your door!
Dana, I am SO moved by what you are doing and the difference you are making in this boy’s life. I am so sad he went through this hell before finding you, but so happy he did. This photo speaks volumes. Love! <3
Wow. It hurts me to hear of children who have been abused, and thank God that he found you for this little boy.
A winner for sure! Your photography is inspirational! Your life is inspirational, too!
Beautiful BW portrait, beautiful story, LOVE
Is he going to be okay? Will he be able to heal or will this injury have lifetime effects? I will be praying for him. It makes me so angry that someone could do this to a baby. God bless you. I know you are showering him with love, patience, and kindness. My heart aches and I wish I could undo this horrible thing.
