This week’s photo challenge at I Heart Faces is our Best Photo of 2011.
I don’t know if it’s my best…
but it is one of my favorites.
My beautiful daughter will probably be my favorite model ever.
God blessed me extra special when He gave me her.

My daughter and I have this tradition of shooting snow photos.
Oklahoma is not known for it’s snow, so for us, it is always special when we get it.
So, ever since she was very little, when it snows, we run outside and take our snow pictures. They will always be wonderfully special for us!
This photo was taken almost a year ago, last February. I can’t wait for it to snow again this year….
…I have another beautiful little girl living with us that I can’t wait to share this tradition with!

She’s gorgeous, Dana. And such a little sweetie! I always love your snow photos, so I hope you get some soon.
Oh, so moody. I’m a huge fan of your work!!! GORGEOUS!!

The Red on white in amazing, and she is a beautiful girl. Love the composition.
I miss the snow!
I love how you draped the red around her to frame her face perfectly. Such a sweet image of your beautiful girl!
Simply stunning! Great emotion and contact with the camera! Winner!!
… the shade on her face makes this photo so mysterious, but it also has a lovely innocence about it … great shot!
I saw this on pinterest and I loved it! The colors are beautiful as is your daughter. It is just a stunning photo, I hope you have a beautiful canvas made from this!
She’s gorgeous! Love it.
Stunning! She’s gorgeous!
Oooooh- the drama!!! AWESOME!
What qualifies a photo as “our best” is the emotion it evokes when we look at it. This one stirs up all kinds of feelings…definitely one of your best! Your daughter is just lovely, and she seem wise beyond her years in all of your portraits of her! Love this one.
gourgeous!
What a beautifully moving photo! She is a seriously pretty child!
She reminds me of Snow White. Beautiful!
Hey- just ran across your blog from the photo challenge. Your pictures are awesome, but your challenge photo was pretty ironic to me so I had to ask……I am BRAND new to photography and just recently got a DSLR camera. Today it snowed for the 1st time and I was soo excited to get some good snow pictures, but also soo scared to get my new camera messed up. any advice? I took pictures from inside of my little man, but of course didn’t get as close as I wanted….thanks.
